Merhaba! Your unforgettable Ephesus and Pamukkale Tour adventure begins as we meet at your hotel lobby and transfer you to Istanbul Airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon landing in Izmir, our team will warmly greet you, and we’ll embark on an enriching Ephesus tour from Izmir airport.
Commence your journey with a visit to The Temple of Artemis, an ancient marvel known as one of the Seven Wonders of the world. Built in the Hellenistic Age, this magnificent structure, now in ruins, captivates with its marble foundations and sculptured columns. Your exploration continues at the archaeological site of the Greco-Roman City of Ephesus. Entering through the Magnesia Gate, follow your guide on a leisurely walk downhill, unveiling the wonders of this Roman provincial capital. Highlights include the Odeon Theater, Celsius Library, Temple of Hadrian, Fountain of Trajan, and the grand Great Theater, believed to be where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians.
After an inspiring visit, take a break for lunch and then proceed to The House of the Virgin Mary, a revered holy site for both Christians and Muslims. Recognized by the Vatican as the official residence where the Virgin Mary spent her final days, it offers a serene space for prayer and meditation.
